The Pioneers will be offering a fun and active day care option for hockey players aged 10-15 who are off school during the upcoming Professional Development days in the area's schools on March 24, 2023. The Pioneers will provide a structured day of skills and fun on and off the ice.
Camp hours are 8:30pm - 4:30pm.
Campers will have an on-ice session in the morning and the afternoon (totalling 3 hours) along with off-ice activities. On ice activities will focus on hockey skills such as skating, stick handling, passing and shooting and small area games. Campers will be grouped based on skill and experience. All participants must bring their own hockey equipment. Goalies are also welcome and will be paired with a goalie instructor for training.
The camp is coached by members of the Gibbons Pioneers Junior hockey team under the supervision of Head Coach Steve Arsenault. Pioneers players and coaches will be on and off the ice with the campers each day.
A cafeteria lunch is included but parents have the option to pack a lunch for their child as an alternative.
PD Day Camp Fees: $80 for the day
Early / late care will be offered at a price of $10 each.
Early care from 7:30am-8:30am & late care from 4:30pm-5:30pm
